My training background started with football. I played for Oxford City from the age of 7 to 19 but it was around 17 when I found my love for gym based training, l had tendonitis in my knee and had to do strength and conditioning for my rehab to get it stronger. During this time it was difficult but training in the gym not only helped my physical appearance but my mental state as well and made me a much happier person overall. My goal is to replicate this with my clients and make you look and feel the best possible. I am currently training to compete in powerlifting, but have trained in all elements of fitness, from sports specific, power and strength, hypertrophy and also injury rehabilitation. I also have a keen interest in the recovery side of fitness like hot and cold therapy, flexibility and mobility training and also sports massage.

Me being your personal trainer is more than just you coming in once or twice a week for a session. It’s a journey that we both go on to ensure you get the results you want. Having me as your personal trainer is investment for life, the knowledge and confidence you will gain will remain with you forever. During our time together I will design a program that will be specific to your needs and goals. I am a very determined person and will keep you driven and motivated throughout our time together. I will always be in contact with you to make sure you are okay and doing all the right things to get the results wanted.

 

I have over 7 years experience in the NHS helping people to lose weight, increase their muscle mass, recover from illness and surgery and generally feel better. I now work as a Personal Trainer and private Dietitian and am passionate about improving peoples lives through diet and exercise.

I am trained in behaviour change techniques and whatever your goal might be I am confident we can achieve or even exceed it together. Over the years I have been amazed at what people can do when they put their mind to it and I get so much satisfaction from seeing people grow and develop. When I first started training I never thought I would be where I am today and I continue to push myself to see what I am capable of.

My aim is to help people lead a better life. Whether it’s coaching an elite athlete to help them unlock their full potential or training a complete novice to help them achieve their goals, there is nothing more rewarding to me than getting someone where they want to be.

I have experienced being in peak physical condition and have played sport at the highest level. However due to a severe life threatening illness a couple of years ago I have experienced being in dangerously bad physical condition and as low as you can possibly be. Therefore I know what it’s like at both physical extremes.

So whatever you looking to achieve, whether you’re an advanced athlete wanting to take it to that next level or someone at the beginning of their fitness journey seeking to change their life, I’m the person to who can get you there.

Why I’m the personal trainer for you

I have proven results working with both elite athletes and complete novices. Also my passion for sports and fitness motivated me to enrol in a Sports and Exercise Science course at the University of Wales, where I achieved a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours. This alongside my extensive coaching experience allows me to guarantee you the best results possible.

My specialisation here at FeelFit Gym is Body transformation, If your goal is to gain muscle or lose body fat, I am your guy! I first found myself in the gym in 2012, I was always the smallest guy in my group of friends. I had a goal and was to get myself fit and strong enough to join the British Army, so in 2013 enlisted to join The Rifles. Towards the end of my Military career, I had to have a knee operation and since then it has been a rollercoaster of journey, including breaking the leg first day off crutches. I left the British Army in Feb 2018. I was lucky to have the chance to go to a military rehabilitation centre for 6 weeks and this is where a lightbulb in my head lit. I want to help people reach their own fitness goals. No matter the barrier/hurdles!

Your Goals are my Goals! Your results are guaranteed! I design simple and effective programs that can help you achieve your goals. With overcoming my own personal hurdles, and the knowledge and experience I have, I will help you overcome yours! I will motivate you and help every step of the way! I am an extremely easy going guy, and will constantly be motivating you throughout! During our time together you will gain the knowledge and confidence to be able to enter the gym on your own, knowing exactly what you are doing and why! Making it easier to keep the weight off and maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle.

I’m passionate about living a very healthy lifestyle and I take pride in my diet and exercise plans. I love running and taking part in any physical activity specially HIIT sessions and strength training. A key thing to know about me is that I am as enthusiastic about achieving my own fitness goals as I am about helping my clients achieve their own. 

I used to suffer from insomnia, anxiety and low self-esteem. Getting involved in fitness and physical activity truly changed my life and the way I felt (and feel) about my body in ways I could not have imagined. That thrill and sense of wellbeing was the reason for wanting to become a personal trainer: why keep these awesome feelings to myself when I could be sharing and helping others? 

Fast forward a few years, I now have multiple clients that have been training with me for five or more years and they consistently achieve their goals through the programs that we create together. During the pandemic year and the lockdowns my clients continued to excel with their results and I also have experience training people during Ramadan. 

What makes me the right person for you:

Make no mistake, your goals are my goals. As your personal trainer, I would design a training program that is right for you. We would first evaluate your fitness level and then sit together to set goals to work towards, as well as monitoring your progress throughout our time together. Some key facts to note:

 

  • I have over nine years of experience in fitness and five as a personal training, plus I am constantly working on broadening my knowledge.

  • The personalised exercise, nutrition and strength/conditioning programs have resulted in a number of clients achieving dramatic weight loss as well as, preventing/reversing type 2 diabetes, reducing depression and anxiety and overall adopting a healthier lifestyle.
  • All clients are guided through workouts, which are always safely modified to their fitness levels and with medical conditions (such as obesity, hypertension,  arthritis, sports injuries and pre and post natal periods) always front of mind. 

Fun facts about me:

• I am Spanish (as you will notice).
• Passion for travelling and learning new cultures.
• I love coffee and cheese.
• Love fashion, even though 85% of the time I am wearing gym clothes (haha).
